Chimere Pelzer of Baltimore, Md. Inducted into English Honor Society at Bowie State University

Chimere Pelzer, of Baltimore, Md., was inducted into Bowie State University's chapter of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honors Society, which recognizes students of the English language and literature. Pelzer is a Master of Arts in English student.

For undergraduate membership, students must have completed at least two college English or literature courses beyond the freshman English requirements, have a grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in English, rank in the top 35 percent of their class, and have completed at least three college semesters.

For graduate membership, students must be enrolled in an English graduate program or specialization, have at least a 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and have completed six graduate-level semester hours.
